United Otters is a production company founded by Alan Schaaf.

We produce documentary-style content for brands and organizations with complex stories to tell. Patient stories, brand films, athlete profiles, anniversary documentaries.

What started in post-production has grown into a full-service operation. We develop concepts, manage productions on location, and carry projects through editing, color, sound, and delivery.

Alan has been working in film since age 16, with credits spanning documentary features, commercial campaigns, and narrative shorts. United Otters brings together a network of trusted collaborators, assembled project by project to match the needs of each story.
